Yes, as I recalled steel string version is about 1 11/16" next width and 1 3/4" next width for nylon string version compare to 2" for standard nylon string guitar neck.
And like Yody said, steel string neck is fairy small and comfortable to hold just like nylon string too (comparatively to standard nylon string guitar neck)

ที่ฟิลิปปินส์มีแหล่งขายกีต้าร์ถูกๆหรือมือสองบ้างไม๊คะ เผื่อจะไปหาซื้อบ้าง
ทริปก่อนไปญี่ปุ่นเกือบซื้อ Yamaha Silent มาแล้วเชียว สีดำเป็น limited color สวยมากๆเลยค่ะ แต่เสียดายเป็นมือ1 ราคาเลยสูงเกินงบไปหน่อย เดินหามือสองอยู่ตั้งหลายร้านก็ไม่เจอ เลยต้องมาหาต่อที่เมืองไทย

Dear Panda,
I almost always prefer used guitars to brand new guitars.
Not only the significantly less cost but also the guitars have been broken in and open up nicely (particularly the all solid acoustic guitars).
So I would strongly suggest you and others to look for the the good used ones that have been "tender loved and cared" for by the previous owners that also absorbed/paid the exra $$$ for you when he/she bought it before desire to sell the guitars off again!
It's simply "Win/win situations" for both sellers and buyers
