Question about "Recording King" guitar in Thailand - napman - 29-03-2011 Hi all, Does anyone know about "Recording King" guitars that are Chinese products? My first question that I need to know before I proceed to the next is "Does this brand are selling in Thailand"? Thank you very much RE: Question about "Recording King" guitar in Thailand - Katayoot - 29-03-2011 เหมือนจะเคยเห็น นครหลวงการดนตรี เอาเข้ามาขายนะครับ http://www.nimitguitar.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5160 RE: Question about "Recording King" guitar in Thailand - lahm - 29-03-2011 I purchased RQC-57CFE from นครหลวงการดนตรี http://www.capitalmusic.co.th/ you will find there on the list but only 2 model avaliable now. My guitar sound great because of all solid open -airy -balance and very loud. To compair to colling , goodall or santa cruz I have to wait 2-3 years for run-in and then it's sound should be. If you not mind chiness guitar and need the best for your little money Recording king is the first one you have to try no need to spoil US$ 5000 for high-end guitar but if you want to be my guest. I hope นครหลวงการดนตรี will continue to be the dealer I wait for next lot. The one that I need is Recording King Century ROS-647 12th Fret OOO Guitar to complete my collection. RK ROS-06 cost me only $255 from Musicians' friend with 45 days returned policy. So far I'm very impressed with its quality at that price. My main reason for buying it is to take it with me and leave it in Thailand all the time (this model has solid spruce top and laminate rosewood back/side which will withstand Thailand's humidity well) so I can play it at my vacation home while I'm at Chiangmai. But if it doesn't cost too much than $255 I may consider buy it in Thailand in stead of carrying it on the plane. Thanks in advance anyone? RE: Question about "Recording King" guitar in Thailand - napman - 31-03-2011 (29-03-2011, 10:13)lahm Wrote: If you not mind chiness guitar and need the best for your little money Recording king is the first one you have to try Hi and thank you Lahm, I'm sorry that somehow your post eluded me and I just saw it now I don't really care where were the GOOD guitars born. So Chinese is also fine with me. Again, thanks for your info. and hope you'll find that one soon (31-03-2011, 21:02)เด่น Wrote: ทางร้านบอกว่าถ้าหมดรุ่นนี้แล้วจะไม่สั่งของเข้ามาอีก Thanks so much Den, I don't blame any store for (not) doing that. We have to realize that every store stands on the profitable products. If any product doesn't produce quite a profitable return then there's no reason to keep selling them You see, I particularly want that one (ROS-06) because I personally like 12 fret guitar also with slotted head with 1 3/4 inch width at the nut and prefered the wider at the saddle too (I know, so many special requirements!) and that what I have at my Martin 000-16SGT that I like so much. I came across RK ROS-06 recently after did some research about it for a while, and gave it a try with 45 day returnable policy from Musiciansfriend. I liked its tone which came with D'addario strings. I replaced the string to Elixir and even loved more. I know that guitar tone is very subjective matter (just like the singers' voices) so as I said before "One man's treasure is another man's trash!. I'm gonna keep this RK ROS-06. It fits my fingers and everything else perfectly. Now I guess I have to take it along on the plane on my next flight to Thailand and leave it at my Chiangmai home so I won't be too lonely (BTW, I still have Taylor Big Baby there but it's just another different kind of beast to play with) Thanks again Den, please say Hi to your lovely family for me until we meet again |
