This is one of those "Vague" questions

You see, Santa Cruz produces so many kinds of D shape guitars, I don't really have vast knowledge of Santa Cruz D guitars but so far I know these following models are;

D-Pre war
D-12 fret
Tony Rice
Tony Rice Pro.
1934 D
Bob Brozman
Bob Broazman Pro.
Ron Buck
And also some Vintage Artist

So what's your D model that you talked about? Or you really just talk about the straight Santa Cruz D model?

And In My Humble Opinion; Guitar is one of the very subjective matter that you can't really say which one is the best! The best one for your ears/eyes may seems like a trash to someone else. So it's next to impossible to pin-point to the conclusion regardless of the $$$ tag that were put on those guitars
