This is the 20th Anniversary Edition
1986 Ovation Collectors' Series 6 String Acoustic/Electric, Model No. 1986-6. Similiar in size and shape to the Standard Balladeer, but much, much nicer. It has a blonde laminated top, an impressive paint job on the slightly rounded back, mother of pearl figure 8 fret inlays (including a mother of pearl "1986" at the 12th fret), black headstock w/black tuners, and what appears to be an ebony fret board. Also the "sound hole" is surrounded by a fancy mother of pearl design. It has a built in pickup/preamp system, 3 band eq, standard volume, and battery life detector.
