ได้อีเมลมาจากหอศิลปวัฒนธรรม ว่าจะมีงาน Jazz Up Bangkok 2010 เห็นว่าน่าจะมีประโยชน์กับทั้งนักเล่นและนักฟังเพลง มีทั้ง Workshop และ Concert จากทั้งศิลปินแจ๊สจากเนเธอร์แลนด์และไทย ในวันที่ 1-3 ตุลาคมนี้

At the top right of the brochure said "Free to watch". So seems like it's very minimal expense or even nothing!

I simply don't understand this "Free". someone (or even a lot of someones) has to foot the bill to bring in these 30 talented musicians for us to see and appreciate their talents.

Each of them is so extraordinary musician, and we here all know that how many dedicated hours/months/years these musicians have sacrified their lives for and exchange for the applause from the audience. Seems almost like tragic to me

If I were in BKK on that day I wouldn't miss (even with paid admission) it but unfortunately I won't be there. If you are not familiar with "Jazz" please do yourself a favor by go and watch them and you may go home with some inspiration for your own style of music too
