Lily Of The West พอดีน้าแนปแกแวะไปฟังก่อนแล้วบอกว่าอยากให้ผมเอามาลงไว้ที่นี่ด้วย เพลงมันไม่ค่อยดังน่ะครับแต่ผมชอบเลยเอามาเล่นหนุกๆ



เป็นเพลงพวก Old American folksong ที่ร้องกันมาเป็นร้อยปีแล้ว คัฟเว่อร์กันมาหลายคนรวมทั้ง Bob Dylan Joan Baez เนื้อเพลงก็ถูกดัดแปลงกันเรื่อยมา ผมเล่นก็อปปี้ของ JB น่ะครับ

I can't help but have to admire you. It's not at all an easy task to interpret any song into other language. It's such a delicate mission to accomplish!

We all know that most of us just hear the song but hardly listen to it word by word, but I guess it's your true artist habit that has to really pay attention to each and every word as you do in every square centimeter of your canvas when you paint your masterpieces

And I'm pretty sure you want to share the beauty and meaning of each song to the world. Just like "Hey, listen to this one. It's so pretty isn't it?"

But just like Don McLean's Vincent lyric;

They would not listen, they're not listening still
PERHAPS THEY NEVER WILL

But keep doing it my friend, very few of us can do what you're doing here

ช่วงหลังๆผมอยากลดภาคความเป็นนักเล่นดนตรีออกไปให้มากๆเพราะผมทราบข้อจำกัดต่างๆที่เรามีอยู่ดี เอาได้เท่าที่พอทำได้ก็พอ
แต่ผมเปลี่ยนมาสนใจเรื่องเนื้อหาของเพลงต่างๆที่เราชอบแทน อยากจะแปลอยากจะทำความเข้าใจกับมันให้มากที่สุดเท่าที่จะสามารถทำได้..มันช่วยทำให้ผมร้องเพลงได้สนุกมากขึ้นกว่าเดิมด้วยครับ

ช่วงหลังๆผมอยากลดภาคความเป็นนักเล่นดนตรีออกไปให้มากๆเพราะผมทราบข้อจำกัดต่างๆที่เรามีอยู่ดี เอาได้เท่าที่พอทำได้ก็พอ
แต่ผมเปลี่ยนมาสนใจเรื่องเนื้อหาของเพลงต่างๆที่เราชอบแทน อยากจะแปลอยากจะทำความเข้าใจกับมันให้มากที่สุดเท่าที่จะสามารถทำได้..มันช่วยทำให้ผมร้องเพลงได้สนุกมากขึ้นกว่าเดิมด้วยครับ
