กีต้าร์ COLLINGS ในความเห็นของสมาชิกบ้านสีฟ้า

คือ กีต้าร์ยี่ห้อนี้ ... ผมมองผ่านไป ผ่านมา ตั้งหลายรอบ เพราะยังไม่เคยได้ลองฟังเสียง (ใน clip)

แต่เมื่อมีโอกาสได้ลองฟังแล้ว ... รู้สึกว่า ชอบมากๆ คับ ... เสียงมัน เต็ม และ มี class ดีแท้

มีท่านใดมีโอกาสลองเล่นกีต้าร์ยี่ห้อนี้บ้างคับ ...

เ่ท่าที่ลองฟังมา ผมชอบเสียงของ D1 (รวมถึง D1A กับ D1AV) มากเลย ... ถึงกับหลงไหลกันเลยทีเดียว

ไม่รู้ว่าค่าสินสอดประมาณเท่าไหร่ ... เห็นว่า sweet sound เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่าย

ผมชอบตรงที่ เค้าบอกในเว็บตรงๆ ว่า ... While Collings is certainly not the first to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar.

ผมยังไม่เคยเห็นตัวเป็นๆ เลย ... ไม่รู้ว่างานจะมี ความเนี๊ยบ เทียบได้กับ taylor หรือ lowden มั้ย

เห็นในเว็ปฝรั่งบอกว่า เริ่มต้นที่ 3 พันต้นๆ เหรียญคับ

เคยลองมาบ้างแล้ว 2-3 ตัว เสียงดี ทุกตัว แปลกแตกต่างกับกีตาร์ทั่วๆไป
อนาคตคาดว่าจะซื้อไว้เล่นสักตัว แต่ ต้องเสาะหารุ่นที่ถูกใจจริงๆ
ที่ผ่านมา....ยังไม่ใช่ ครับ

เคยเล่นมา 5 รุ่น จำรุ่นไม่ได้ แต่ดูที่หัวก็รู้ว่ามันคือ COLLINGS
ชอบทุกตัว เพราะเล่นง่าย คอเล็ก
หน้าตาเรียบๆ ธรรมดา แต่ราคาสูงจริงๆ

Collings เสียงสดใส มีประกาย balance ดีไม่แพ้ Martin โดยรวมแล้วผมชอบเสียงมากกว่า Martin ในราคาเดียวกันแต่สำหรับผมแล้วกีต้าร์ที่ผมซื้อจะต้องมีคุณสมบัติสี่ประการคือ

1. เสียงดี
2. สวย
3. ราคาคุ้มค่ากับเสียงและหน้าตา
4. ทนทาน (ข้อนี้ดูที่ยี่ห้อและแหล่งที่ผลิต)

Collings สอบตกไปสองข้อครับถ้าเป็นกีต้าร์มือหนึ่ง ถ้าเจอมือสองราคาคุ้มค่าก็คงซื้อแต่หามาเป็นสิบปีแล้วยังไม่เคยเจอซักตัว

เคยลองมาบ้างครับ ชอบเสียงเป็นเอกลักษณ์ดีครับ เสียงแบบคมๆ ชัดๆ ครับ

Let me chime in a little bit here;

I had only an hour or so to try few Used Collings at "Guitar Center" at Sunset strip store in Hollywood may be about a year ago or so. So just take my opinion with a grain of salt OK?

The main reason that caused me to interested in this Coll is Pete Huttlinger who was John Denver band 's guitarist until JD died. And I had few opportunities to go to PH concerts when he happened to have in in my local areas (very upclosed in the churches, I could actually heard his breathing!) and also in his workshops.

His guitars are Coll, and of course he played them so well even if I know that he can make ANY guitar sing but it intriqued me of why he plays Coll? And I needed to find out!

From my very limited hands-on experience at GC, I can say that Coll is another plain Jane guitar that sound very very nice in overall, but nothing much in any particular order. And yes the prices are on the high-end side. I can say that it may be too good for me to play that beast with only an hour of mingling with it, may be it will take me many hours to get to know it. But an hour with it didn't do me enough to want to own it. So I skipped it.
