Donovan (the somewhat folk singer) had a song "Hurdy Gurdy man" that he wrote for his friend and mentor (I forgot his name).
It's something about free spirit hippies, it's kind of interesting because the guy who produced and also played bass in this song was John Paul Jones of "Led Zep"
