RE: Lowden LSE I Natural # 5248
Lowden LSE-I
This is Lowden's small box, cutaway, stage acoustic. Mahogany back & sides, spruce top, 2 piece neck, split saddle, built-in Fishman transducer under saddle. Thin neck (1 11/16 at nut), small body (15 11/15 at bout), satin finish, agate tuner buttons, gold tuners. Came with flight case. The guitar is hand made, including the bracing which is split wood (not milled). Very understated guitar (i.e., no abalone inlays, position markers, tree-of-life fretboard, etc.) The simplicity is elegant. The grain of the wood is stunning under lights.
Lowden LSE-2 Custom
Lowden Stage Series model cutaway with pickup (EMG under saddle with hidden on~board pre-amp boost mounted inside on neck block); made from East Indian Rosewood, sides and back; sitka spruce top; 5-piece neck; all wood bindings (Maple) with purfling lines (Rosewood, Mahogany, and Sycamore), and rosette (purfling lines of Rosewood, Sycamore, Mahogany, and Walnut); gold tuners with amber buttons; clear pickguard.
This Lowden Stage Series model features the same outline shape as the F series but with a thinner sound-box. The design is to minimize potential feedback while using the stage monitor, a common challenge with larger body acoustic guitars. The neck and graceful cutaway make for an exceptionally comfortable guitar on stage and in the studio.
A man who has NOTHING, gives you EVERYTHING.
