Thanks for sharing your passion with us, I noticed that most people seem to shy about sharing their info. with others.
Now you have let the world know about it, there's nothing to stop you from doing what you love. Keep doing it young man.
I'm 63 years old so I can say that I also like Elvis too (may be not as much as you). I respect him as one of a kind and he's still the "KING" even if he's passed on for so long ago. It's kind of funny that you are only 31 So how did you get to know and like Elvis in the first place? Would you like to let us know?
I'll get on YT and check you out later, I just got back home and just turned on my PC. I'll let you know about my opinion of you later on
OK, I'm back after listen to you at YT.
Here are some comments but please take them with a grain of salt because I'm only one voice of us here.
It's obvious that you were born with gifted voice, there are few more people that sound somewhat like Elvis and you certainly are one of them.
I know a Thai singer that I had a priviledge to play with/for him for few years in mid 70s, he's Elvis specialist and believe it or not he still performs his specialize up until now and I have no doubt that he'll do that for the rest of his life (he's approaching 70s now!) or as long as people want to see/hear him and by the way I live in Los Angeles, California since 1972.
So I thank you that you are doing what you love and make people happy with what you've been given. "Music is a gift that you have to give away" in one way or the other. And Elvis Presley impersonators never fails to make people happy by one way or the others.
I'm pretty sure you sound better in "LIVE" than at YT, because YT will degrade your Audio/Video to fit their format. So don't worry too much if it doesn't sound as good as you expect. By repetitions you will no doubt getting better and better all the time.
Sooner or later, you'll find your own VOICE and people will remember as YOU not Elvis even if you are sounding like Elvis for the first 31 years of your life!
I'd suggest you to get on YT and watch/listen to this guy if you may and let me know how do you think;
And here's what I tried to tell you about injecting his own style in Elvis song even if he sounds so much like Elvis himself;
[A friendship needs a little mulch of contacts every so often-just to save it from drying out completely.
I always have great pleasure being alone by myself to play, If you're playing for any other reason, it won't last. http://youtu.be/_tkGVGOKQ8c
