Taylor 2002 NAMM Show NS-Special Brazilian/Spruce nylon string.
Basically a Custom Taylor NS72CE before they named it that, but with an Engleman Spruce top and a special
Oakleaf design rosette. There was also a cedar topped version displayed at that show,....but this is the spruce
topped version. Not many brazilian B&S nylon string guitars have been made,....even fewer with spruce tops.
It was displayed at the 2002 NAMM show, and made with solid Brazilian Back & Sides as a special
build to mark Taylor's debut into the nylon string crossover instrument. There was also a cedar topped
model displayed there also at the same time.
Nut width is 1 7/8 inches , scale length is 25 1/2 inches.
Replaced the Tusk saddle with a Bob Colosi hard African Ivory saddle.
Fishman Acoustic Matrix pickup factory installed.
