Thanks dear7, but don't let the appearance fools you!
As you know when you're on the stages or in the clubs most of the time they don't provide lots of lights for you up there. So nobody really sees how pretty/ugly of your guitars.

And I agree that Jap's woodwork are almost always meticulous than Americans.

You are correct, I mostly played my other used P bass (bought in early 70s)in clubs. I seldomly played this one even when I was playing in clubs until late 70s and I bought it brand new (in late 70s) and I also normally take good care of my guitars
