I personally love bicycle since I had my first one when I was about 10 years old in Thailand. And still riding it occasionally now in Calif. where I live. I used to dream about long distance riding but never gathered enough nerve to do it. Less than a year ago my TU chum that is a year older than me did a bicycle group tour from Chiangmai to Pai at his age of 65! and that rekindled my long lost dream.

From these pictures I can see that it looked pretty safe to ride in a group like that. I have to tell you that traffic in Thailand really scare the sxxt out of me to say the least. I don't even want to drive a car left alone to ride bicycle even if I used to ride my motorcycle when I was in Thailand in late 60s before.

Well, may be I'll find a way to do this someday, you'll never know
