Yeah, it was exactly like you mentioned in the good (BAD) old days!!! It seemed OK when we played in the clubs nights after nights after nights. I guess we got used to it (or we didn't know any better!).
But it was another new ball game when we had to play off-sites like in the Theaters, big hall like Chula or Thamasat auditorium or outdoor events or even at the TV stations (on-air)! We couldn't hear anything not even each of our own vocal, I guess we just put on our auto-pilot and went with it
I still remember one time we played in the forest (Khao Yai), I think it was sponsored by Chula students club. It was wild, man!! I mean you looked at those young kids dancing their hearts out in the moonlight with the natural night light and big trees (or should I say FOREST) in the background, and we couldn't hear any NOISE that we made because it was all absorbed by those trees and stuffs!!
