ข้อมูลของ Lowden จากเจ้าของคนแรก เป็นข้อมูลครับ
"Here are some details you might be interested in: Your guitar was special ordered, direct through the factory. At the time I placed it, the Lowden company was partnered w/ the now "Avalon" company, who has since separated over some legal issues. This was indeed around 2002-03. The O808c GS designation, is indeed the used nomenclature w/ what would be an O38 series guitar today. O-size, 808, (designating highest model custom series w/ AAAA grade woods), c - cutaway, and GS - German Spruce. When placing the order, I had spoken to the Lowden contact and discussed tonewood options. We spoke at length, and finally settled upon this specific German Spruce top for its stifness and tap tone superiority above the other GS samples. They described it to me as when bent, it made more of a "U" shape, as opposed to the others which made more of a "V" shape, indicating a much higher stiffness to weight ratio.
The inlay patterns were also a bit modified to my specs, being that typically the 12th fret leaf patterns were quite a bit larger whereas I preferred a more subtle approach and requested them to be the same size as the others.
I'm not sure if the setup was since changed, but I switched to a heavier guage medium string, and had the setup re-done by Del Langjeans who is the foremost Lowden expert here in the States. Later, I switched out the nut and saddles, w/ Fossilized Walrus Ivory from none other than Kevin Ryan, who was very impressed w/ the tone and construction of the guitar. This was just before he created the signature guitar for Pierre Bensusan, so I like to think I had somethign to do w/ that (haha)! "
