Just like I said at FB that this was the song that my wife used to played a lot. I like the lyric and also the melody line. You did it good again Cin. Cool

And from Parker; "The Beatles songs always strike my ears. I never heard this song; but it's beautiful reminds me of "when I'm 64'" that ones of my favourite tune."
My opinion is Beatles songs are constructed of the clever passage of chords that not many of their contemporary artists had, left alone the lyrics that still keep you pondering for quite a while. And of course You'd never heard of most of their songs because you're not even close to their age!!LOL.

I believe I recorded "When I'm 64" both in true acoustic and also with drum machine when I approached 64, but I'm not sure where are they now! You still have a long time to get to that age so you'll have plenty of time to spice it up with your Jazz flavor and make it your own version :-)

Now, when I re-listened to Cin. Something's nagging me like I've heard this song before!! And I kept thinking about it and all of a sudden something clicked!!

This Thai song sounds somewhat similar to the very old Hippies era song!!

That song was "For Yasgur's farm" that we (Thanks) played in the late 60s up until we disbanded in early 70s. It was sung by our keyboard player Ter (The late Rewat Buddhinan) and I played bass in that band. I'm not saying that the Thai song composer had any melody idea from the Farang! I could be very well be totally wrong. But you'll be the judge :-)
(I recorded this song about 2 years ago by our Nimit's member Chad's request. But of course I didn't do any guitar solo part! Khor (The late Chalermkiat Amornsingha) our lead guitar did a splendid soloing as he always did, he also passed away not very long after Ter. May they RIP my friends)

[A friendship needs a little mulch of contacts every so often-just to save it from drying out completely.

I always have great pleasure being alone by myself to play, If you're playing for any other reason, it won't last.
