The 1187-247 Adamas #47 Slot Head Reissue has been regarded throughout Ovation's history as being one of the best, if not the best, Adamas guitars ever made. The 1187 reissue is an extremely accurate replica of Charlie Kaman's personal favorite. The 1187 will be available in the 4th quarter of 2005.

Featuring a Deep Non-Cutaway, Unidirectional Carbon Graphite Top, Quintad Bracing, 25 1/4" Scale Length, Natural Satin Neck Finish, Resin Impregnated Walnut Fretboard, Original Adamas Fret Inlay, Gold Inlay, Carved Walnut Bridge, 13 piece Exotic Hardwood Rosette, 1 11/16" Nutwidth, Gold Schaller Machines.
