Yeah even the Satch and Vai models are basically other Ibanez designs - the JS used to be called the Radius and the JEM is basically an RG with the handle thing cut into it... the JPM likewise was basically an RG too.

And seriously, if you were going for money you wouldn't go to a small company like EBMM who doesn't make that many guitars per year. You'd go to someone that cranks them out mass produced. (example, EVH going from EBMM to Peavey lol) I have both an Ibanez JPM and an EBMM and the EBMM is far and away the better built and classier guitar. Their support is top notch too, I'm on a first name basis with the guys there - try getting that with Ibanez lol.
