ทุกรุ่นที่เคยผลิตแต่ไม่ยักกะมีรุ่นนี้แต่กลับไปเริ่มที่ CEO-4 เลย

ลองหันมาพึ่งหนังสือก็บอกแค่ว่าผลิตอยู่ 150 ตัวในปี 1999-2000 แต่ที่หาไม่เจอก็คือไม้หน้ามันเป็นไม้อะไรก่อนที่จะพ่นสีทองทับ ถ้าดูจากรุ่น Concept II ที่ออกมาพร้อมๆกันแต่ราคาสูงกว่ายังใช้ไม้หน้าเป็น laminated spruce และรุ่น CEO-1,
CEO-2 ที่ไม้หน้าเป็น laminate ตัวนี้ก็น่าจะเป็น laminate เหมือนกันครับ

This limited edition Martin CEO 3 guitar is incredibly beautiful and sounds fantastic. It is # 50 of 150 produced. The original retail list price was $3500.00 The guitar has a laminated Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and a gold tone solid sitka spruce top with an ebony fingerboard that has hexagon mother of pearl inlays. It also has a simulated tortoiseshell head. The guitar is a "D" dreadnought and has an abalone pearl rosette with the neck being solid genuine mahogany. There is a signature mother of pearl inlay in the fingerboard of C. F. Martin IV.

แต่ยังสงสัยอีกครับว่าทำไม รุ่น NAMM Prototype 2001 จึงใช้ Tasmanian Black back and sides และTuners คล้ายเป็น Ebony

The CEO is one of 150 such guitars produced by Martin in the last couple of years.Solid spruce top with laminated brazilian rosewood sides, it also features a Gibson J-160E style pickup system incorporated with a Fishman Rare-Earth soundhole pickup.
