Hi Hattaya,
Thanks for the inspiration that I got after I read your post. It literally brought tear to my eye.

Allow me to write about my dad here, this will be the first time ever that I've found the appropriate place for him.

Almost like your dad, my dad worked in Big construction company that bid to construct the big projects from the government mostly outside Bangkok. My dad was the external Manager that need to manage those sites. He's seldomly home, I remembered so well that everytime when my school closed he would send someone to pick me up at home and that guy would take me to him at so many different provinces all over Thailand, Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western parts. His company constructed many different things such as roads, bridges, and even the hospital at Mae Sod many years ago when it was burned down by Karin or Burmese I'm not sure about. Also the hospital Sri Than at Khon Khan before it became Khon Khan University as of today, and Yan Hi Dam at Tak that now bore the name of Princess as I recalled. And so many other constructions.

He's my main person who sew the seeds of adventure/explorer in my brain, tought me to love and be the one with nature like he did. He would took me the forests, taught me techniques of surviving and other things that you can think of.

We didn't have much opportunities to getting to know each other much due to his nature of profession, but I know that among 4 of his children he loved and expected from me most.

Of course things wouldn't go as planned in reality, he had accident at Ampur Ngao, Chiangrai or Lampang I'm not sure. And that severe enough to put him in disability mode for the rest of his life.

But he's always a fighter until he drawn his last breath. He passed away in June of 1995 at the age of 75. He was and will always be my idol, I'm always try my best to be as good person as him.

Yes, I dreamed of him too, not very often but each time was a wonderful dream, he's always seemed to be happy and strong as he was.

Thanks for keep on reading until this line, I felt so good to let it all out from this old man of 62,
only 13 more years I'll be at his age when he passed away and I promised him here and now that I'll be as humble, sincere, always look at the good side of people and be helpful to the others and as strong as him when he was alive and well.
