Here's your request;
Your story reminded me of my youth's life in BKK before I left for USA in 1972.
I was always donated my blood at Thai Red Cross besides signed to donate my cadaver to the hospital if I happened to die pre-maturely of any cause.
And then one day I received a letter from Thai Red Cross asking me to go to Thai Red Cross at Henri Dunan street to receive a medal or some kind of certificate from The Queen herself because of the large amount of blood that they collected from me. But I declined to go, the reason was at that time since I was in my last rock band (THANKS) I simply wore my uniform of Black T-shirt, Black jeans, Black tire-rubber sandals not to mention my hair that was so long and fluffly due to haven't gone to the barber at least 2 years or even longer, and never wanted to dress to please anybody else. And I also didn't want to cause any stir at that formal ceremony especially in front of The Queen of Thailand!.
And now you are doing what I did 40+ years later!
I salute you my brother, I truly believe that "the more you give the more you will receive in return"
And I'm also wanting to praise you here for your "Vegetarian life", I myself try my best to not eating meat whenever I can just the same reason as you have at your signature. I simply don't feel that it's right to take another life to sustain your own life. We can certainly live happily and healthy without killing any other living creatures.
Peace & Love to you all.
