This is one of my all time favorite movies (even if I've watched very few movies in the past)
Maurice Jarr did a spectacular work on music. I hope you're referring to the original version of this movie, not the one that came out in 2002 that I didn't watch!
I've read the book since I was in my teen and watch the movie later.
I loved everything in this movie particularly "Lara Antipop-Julie Christie " (and book by Boris Pasternak).

Everytime I heard this song, it reminded me of the Russia frozen landscape that chilled me to the bone.

Thanks for bringing this one up.
