The Girl from Ipanema นี้ เป็นเพลงที่ดังมาก และก็มีหลาย version ด้วยกัน ศิลปินหลายท่านได้ร้องเอาไว้ ในอดีตผมเองรู้จักและฟังอยู่แค่ version เดียว คือ version ที่ร้องโดย Lisa Ono (นอกจากนี้ยังมีอีกหลายๆคน เช่นNat King Cole , Frank Sinatra เป็นต้น)
เดิมทีฟัง Lisa Ono เมื่อ 2-3 ปี ได้ยินเพลงนี้ก็เข้าใจมาตลอดว่าเป็นของ Lisa Ono

จนไม่นานมานี้ ผมก็รู้ว่า Lisa Ono ไม่ได้ร้องคนเดียวนี่นา แล้วก็ไม่ได้มีแต่เสียงร้องเป็นภาษาอังกฤษด้วย น่ากลัวว่าอาจจะเป็นภาษาอื่น แล้วมาร้องเป็นอังกฤษเสียละมั้ง (กว่าจะรู้ก็เกือบจะปล่อยไก่ไปแล้ว)

เดิมมีชื่อเพลงว่า Garota de Ipanema (ออกเสียงยังไง ใครรู้บ้าง)โดย ราชา เพลงBossanova

เพลงนี้เขียนครั้งแรกในปี 1962 โดย Antonio Carlos Jobim โดยเนื้อร้องตอนแรกเป็นภาษาโปรตุเกส แต่งโดย Vinicius de Moraes ครับ
